Meals To Go

After an absence in 2021 due to pandemic conditions, we are re-launching our annual Meals to Go fundraiser, delivering lunches to offices and local businesses located within the City of Peterborough, and expanding deliveries into Lakefield for 2022.

We invite companies and small businesses to order lunches that will be delivered directly to their workspace by our Meals on Wheels volunteers. 


Delivery Dates in Peterborough - March 2nd and March 30th

Delivery Dates in Lakefield - March 1st and March 29th

Prefer to pick up your own order?  Curb-side pick is available on any of these dates too, just specify this on your order form.

  •  In Peterborough - at our Community Care office, 185 Hunter Street East in Peterborough and from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. 
  • In Lakefield - at our Community office, 40 Rabbit Street in Lakefield  - call  (705) 652-8655 to arrange a time

This years’ lunches have a southwestern theme and are only $10 each. The menu is below.

  • includes a starter of flavourful, homemade mango coconut curry soup,
  • and an option of:
    • a grilled chicken wrap with cheddar cheese, tomato, corn, black beans, and zesty chipotle mayo or,
    • a salad with grilled chicken, feta cheese, tomato, corn and black beans on a bed of fresh greens. 
  • dessert, a moist date cake with coconut frosting. 
  • There are vegetarian and lactose-free menu options also available upon request.

Donations are greatly accepted.  This fundraiser is part of our March for Meals awareness month and it supports our Meals on Wheels program and our Give A Meal subsidy program.
