Want to play at Wildfire Golf Club in Lakefield and support a great cause?
Community Care is organizing its annual fundraising golf tournament at Wildfire Golf Club on September 12th, 2022.
“This is the 4th annual tournament at Wildfire and we have a great event planned,” said Alicia Vandine – Donor Relations and Communications Lead – Community Care Peterborough. “This event helps to support our service offices in Lakefield and Apsley, who coordinate our programs for residents there and throughout the municipalities of Selwyn, Douro – Dummer and North Kawartha.”
Entry per golfer - $250.00 with a $25.00 tax receipt.
“We are thrilled to be back to a shotgun start style tournament and then being able to gather for dinner after playing golf,” said Vandine. “Our golfers will be treated to a gourmet lunch box to start, a round of 18 holes of golf with cart, and a BBQ dinner of chicken and ribs with all the fixings.”

- Registration opens: 11:30am
- Boxed lunches available starting: 11:45 am
- Announcements: In carts ready to send out on the course at 12:40 pm
- Shotgun start: 1:00 pm
- Dinner (depending on the pace of play): 5:30 pm
“We will also have some silent auction items and a prize for the top team,” added Vandine. “We also have the Peterborough Petes coming to run a putting contest for us too."
