We are very fortunate to have a wonderful base of dedicated and caring volunteers. Marg Dawson is one of these enthusiastic and committed volunteers – and has been for over 20 years!
Marg has taken on many roles during her time with Community Care, including fundraising, Meals on Wheels and as an office volunteer.
Over the past year, while our volunteers have been unable to be in our office, Marg has stepped in to assist with our expanding telephone visiting program.
When asked about her volunteering role, Marg responded.
"Volunteering has allowed me to meet new people, appreciate the role of all people in our communities and provide a positive attitude to those I meet”.
It is that positive attitude that makes us extremely privileged to have Marg as part of our volunteer group in Norwood.
