The CFUW is a non-partisan, voluntary, self-funded organization with over 100 CFUW Clubs, located in every province across Canada. The Peterborough club was founded in 1937!
CFUW fosters education and lifelong learning and advocates for women's equality and human rights; clubs actively participate in public affairs at the local, national and international levels.
Yearly, the Peterborough club supports local groups that need help and through its Charitable Scholarship supports someone in need at Trent, Fleming, and each of the local high schools.
After hearing a presentation made by our Volunteer Coordinator, Darci, the members decided to also make personal donations to support Community Care too.
Thank you, CFUW Peterborough, for your personal generosity and for your commitment to area charities!
