Short term assistance is also available to help you get back on track after an illness or hospital stay.

"Thank you for sending the Brokered Helper. He was wonderful and a great asset to your agency. He went out of his way to install our window blinds and even returned a faulty one. He’s an angel.” - Alice & Buddha R., clients since 2014

FRIENDLY VISITING

Do you spend a lot of time alone?

Our Friendly Visiting Volunteers are great company for either a phone call or a weekly visit. Knowing someone cares enough to visit provides security in many ways.

"I very much enjoy visits from Marie. She’s a really lovely lady. We’ve gone for walks to the Ecology Park – haven’t been there in years and really enjoyed it ." - Ann F, age 59, client since 2013
"A couple of days ago things looked very bleak for my parents who are both very ill. But thanks to agencies like Community Care things are looking better. The greatest concern of people as they age is that of maintaining independence." – National Advisory Council on Aging (1998)
