Staff Announcement
July 6th, 2020

It is our pleasure to announce that Caylea Smith has accepted the position of Supported Referral Coordinator, starting in September 2020 thru until approximately July 2021, to cover Alex Rawek’s maternity leave.

In her new role, Caylea will be liaising with the Central East LHIN and other health care partners to provide responses to referrals for many community support services across the City and County of Peterborough, Haliburton County, City of Kawartha Lakes, and Northumberland County. She will also be engaging clients, their families, and service providers in the development of their Coordinated Care Plans.

Caylea, who will be returning in September from her maternity leave, was the Community Development Coordinator in our Buckhorn office and will bring her knowledge and experience working with clients to this new role.

Subsequently, Jodie Mulder’s current contract in the position of Community Development Coordinator in Buckhorn will be extended to cover the same time period.

A Community Development Coordinator role includes client, volunteer and day-to-day operational oversight of programs, specifically with client intake and assessment, public relations and local fundraising.

Jodie has excelled in her role while covering Caylea’s maternity leave and will continue to bring her positive energy to the Buckhorn community.

We would also like to extend our best wishes to Alex Rawek and her family in the coming months as they prepare for the arrival of a new baby.

Congratulations, Caylea and Jodie. If you are in the Buckhorn area, feel free to stop by and say hello to both Caylea and Jodie will be working from our Buckhorn office.
