COVID-19 Volunteer Needs Update
We thank you for your interest in volunteering with Community Care. It has been truly remarkable to have so many community members reach out and offer to volunteer to help our clients. During this COVID-19 pandemic, we are deemed an essential service and are continuing to provide services to seniors and adults with physical challenges in our communities. We are currently collecting a list of community members who are able to help out during this time – should we require additional volunteers to support our clients we would contact those on the list. Please fill out the volunteer application to be added to the list. We are looking at our volunteer needs daily, and although we have no immediate volunteer roles to fill, we know that that can change quickly.
Once we are back to normal operations, our full scope of volunteer opportunities will be available.
We thank you for your interest, support and understanding.
Community Care relys on the support and dedication of over 830 volunteers, who donate their time and expertise to help over 7,000 clients in the City and County of Peterborough remain independent in their own homes…where they want to be! Without volunteers, none of this would be possible.
Volunteering with Community Care is flexible to fit your schedule. Whether it is once a week or once a month, we need your help to make a difference!
Benefits of Volunteering:
