We go to great lengths to ensure
volunteers are matched up with the position which best suits their skills. Volunteers are
supported by a team of staff members which co-ordinates service delivery, matches clients
and assists in the event of a conflict or a crisis. Throughout the year, volunteers are
offered education and training on topics specific to the volunteer's position and to the
organization as a whole.Each
volunteer candidate is required to apply, in writing, to become a volunteer. For the
safety of our clients a police record check and an in-depth screening process is conducted for each volunteer
application, including reference checks, to ensure that the volunteer candidate
possesses the appropriate skills and qualifications to perform the duties
of the position.
